This has been an amazing week. I’ve felt better mentally and physically than I have in a loooong time. I even was able to get up before my alarm this morning and meditate for a while.
I think it’s mostly because I’ve been working out every day, actually taking my antidepressant pill every night, and sleeping weirdly well.
I don’t want to jinx it, but damn, I’m feeling good.
Granted, a little half-pint of vodka makes itself known a few days a week, but the good days are beginning to outweigh the bad.
Also, I’ve been reading a book called “This Naked Mind: Control Alcohol: Find Freedom, Rediscover Happiness & Change Your Life” (wow…longest title ever.) I’m not much of a “self-help book” person, but the reviews on Amazon were pretty impressive.
Whatever it takes, right?
